Cricket Format Explained
Having a good understanding of cricket formats before betting makes it easier to choose the right market. Each format differs in pace, strategy and the type of betting markets available.
T20
20 overs per innings. A full match typically ends in 3 to 3.5 hours. The most common betting markets include match winner, runs in the first over, session score, and top six hitter. BPL, IPL and T20 World Cup are played in this format.
ODI (One-Day)
50 overs per innings. A match can take 7 to 8 hours to complete. Betting opportunities shift after the innings break, so live betting requires a strategic approach.
Test
Five days long, with unlimited overs per innings. Betting markets include unique options such as match draw, end-of-day score and series winner — options not available in T20.
The Hundred
A newer format from England where each team faces 100 balls. This fast-paced format can see the situation change on every single delivery.
Major Cricket Leagues
Football Betting
Alongside cricket, football is also hugely popular in Bangladesh. Europe's major leagues run from around 1 AM to early morning in Bangladesh time, and football fans across the country stay up late to follow these matches.
Leagues followed by football fans in Bangladesh
- English Premier League — the league with the highest interest
- La Liga — Spain's top league
- UEFA Champions League — Europe's top club competition
- FIFA World Cup qualifiers — the excitement of the national team

From the Start to Victory
Joining 55zz and placing your first bet is straightforward. Follow these four steps.
Bonus Terms in Plain Language
| Bonus Type | Amount / Rate | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome Bonus | 120%, up to ৳10,000 | 20x wagering (on the bonus amount) |
| VIP Weekly Cashback | Bronze: 0.5% • Silver: 1.0% • Gold: 1.5% | Credited on a weekly basis |
Key Terms to Know
To withdraw winnings from a bonus, you must first place a specified amount in bets. At 55zz, this is calculated on the bonus amount, not the original deposit.
Not all game bets count equally toward wagering. Slots generally count in full, but table games may count partially — see the bonus terms for details.
While a bonus is active, you cannot place a bet above a certain limit per round. Exceeding this limit may result in the bonus being cancelled.
Every bonus has an expiry date. If wagering is not completed within that time, the bonus and any associated winnings will be forfeited.
Some bonuses have a cap on how much can be withdrawn from bonus winnings. This limit generally does not apply to the portion from your original deposit.
Example Calculation
Say you deposit ৳1,000.
- Deposit Amount ৳1,000
- 120% Bonus + ৳1,200
- Total Balance ৳2,200
- Wagering Required (৳1,200 × 20) ৳24,000
Wagering is calculated only on the bonus amount of ৳1,200, not on the total balance of ৳2,200.

Under the 55zz VIP program, you receive cashback every week on your net losses. The more you play, the higher the tier you reach and the more cashback you earn.

Low volatility means smaller wins come more frequently, while high-volatility games offer the chance of bigger wins but less often. RTP (Return to Player) is the theoretical rate at which a game pays back over the long term — however, every spin is independent and results are determined by a random number generator.
